  • Reserve funds are set aside to ensure that the cost of living in a community is shared by everyone. This means that during the 20 year life span of a roof each person who lived under the roof should share in the cost of replacement. The Reserve for Replacement account is set up in an attempt to ensure that full financial responsibility does not fall on the person living in the unit at the time the roof is replaced. Our job is to provide clear information to each Board of Directors on how best to plan for.
